About Me

I am a senior researcher in the Algorithms and Theory group at INSAIT. My work primarily focuses on Graph Algorithms, Approximation Algorithms, Hardness of Approximation, and Parameterized Complexity. I received my PhD from McGill University in 2014. Before joining INSAIT, I was an Associate Professor at the Institute for Theoretical Computer Science at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (ITCS@SUFE).

More About Me

• I am a neurodivergent individual, and like many others, I have struggled with maintaining a “clean” life. I want to share that you are not alone—there is someone out there like you. While I am also struggling, I am willing to offer support. C’est la vie.
• I identify as a social liberalist, believing in individual freedoms, equality, and social progress.
• Outside of academics, I practice fencing, Thai fencing, Chanbara sport, and other martial arts. I am a disciple of the Sri-Trai-Rar martial arts school in Thailand. My grandmaster was also a co-founder of the Thailand Fencing Federation.
• I am a 1-dan Thai Go player, though I played at 2-dan in Canada and 4-dan in China.
